Feb 10Josephine Costello and Honor Grimes represented the North West in the ASA Youth Girls Inter-Regional Championships. 

Eleanor Bailey, Scott Cummings, Adam Gillespie, Grace Morley, Jessica Sloan and Adam Toone achieved Regional Qualifying Times. 

Eleanor Bailey, Scott Cummings, Bethan Critchley, Mia Dermott, Adam Gillespie, Grace Morley, Rebecca Rumbelow, Jessica Sloan and Adam Toone achieved Lancashire County Age Group QualifyingTimes.
Jan 10Diane Stafford was selected as Team Manager to an England Training Camp – Level 3 and to Leanne Tipple on being selected as Physiotherapist on the same camp. 

Michael Cowburn was in the top 10 goal-scorers for the 12th year running in the National Water Polo League. He scored 42 goals in 7 games an average of 6 per game by far the best average of any player in all four divisions of the league. 

Grace Morley won the Ryan Heywood Trophy for the Most Valued Junior Water Polo Player in 2009.

Dec 09Mavis Bent was appointed an MBE for her voluntary service to swimming and water polo in Greater Manchester. 

Diane Stafford was elected President of Lancashire County Water Polo and Swimming Association. 

Eric Harrison was awarded an Outstanding Contribution to Tyldesley S&WPC Award by the Lancashire County Water Polo and Swimming Association. 

Daniel Laithwaite set a new record of 59.74 in the Gents Open Age 100 m freestyle at the Club Championships. 

Grace Morley set a new record of 1.05.32 in the Ladies Open Age 100 mfreestyle at the Club Championships.
Nov 09The Senior swim team won the Central Lancashire Senior League for the 14th time in 15 years. 

The Junior Jubilee team finished 2nd in the Central Lancs Junior Jubilee B Final.

Emma Costello and Austin Lawley were elected as Club Captains. 

Grace Moley and Jaeger Turner attended the Regional Level 1 Talent Development Camp at the Manchester Aquatics Centre.
Oct 09Josephine Costello was selected to attend the Swim NorthWest Water PoloAcademy. 

Nick Grimes, George Marsden, Alistair McIntyre & Ben Samuel represented Greater Manchester CSP (County Sports Partnership) at the Swim NorthWest Junior Boys Water Polo Develop Tournament. 

Grace Morley, Adam Toone and Jaeger Turner represented Division 7 in the ESSA Schools Finals.  

Grace Morley and Jaeger Turner represented the North West in the “Duel in The Pool” against North East at Macclesfield. Jaeger won the 100 m and 200 m backstroke. Grace was 2nd in the 100 m and 200 m butterfly. 

Jaeger Turner represented Lancashire County in the ASA Inter-County Competition at Ponds Forge. Lancashire won the competition for the 8th year running. 

Jessica Sloan and Jodie Alder attended the Lancashire Swim Camp at the Manchester Aquatics Centre. 

Anne Marie Morley passed the SAS/UKCC Level 2 Teaching Aquatics Certificate.
Sep 09Tyldesley won the Manchester & District Masters Water Polo Tournament.
 Jessica Sloan set a new club record of 15.66s in the 10 yr girls 25 m freestyle at the Mini Gala.

Aug 09Grace Morley, Adam Toone and Jaeger Turner competed at the ASA National Age Groups at Ponds Forge.  Jaeger finished in Bronze Medal position in the 13 year girls 100m and 200m backstroke. Grace finished in 9th place in the  Girls12 years 100m and 200m butterfly; 16th 200m Backstroke; 19th 100m Backstroke and Adam finished in 12th place in the Boys 12 years 100m backstroke.
Jul 09Robyn Nicholls represented GB Senior Ladies at the LEN Women’s European Nations Trophy Water Polo Championships. The team won the competition. 

Leanne Tipple was selected as the physiotherapist for the England Talent Camps. Diane Stafford was selected as the Team Manager for the same camps. 

Lucy Aspinall, Josephine Costello and Natasha Grundy represented Greater Manchester at the ASA NorthWest County Sports Partnership Girls Youth Development Tournament. The team won the competition. 

Austin Lawley won the Young Volunteer U18s category of the ASA Northwest Aquaforce Awards. 

Matt Kearns was runner up in the Outstanding Contribution by a 18 to 25 Year Old category of the ASA Northwest Aquaforce Awards. 

Keith Royle was runner up in the Outstanding Contribution at Club Level category of the ASA Northwest Aquaforce Awards. 

The 13/U water polo team won the Bolton and District Centenary Gala water polo competition.
Jun 09Jaeger Turner achieved a National Qualifying Time (NQT) in the 12 yrs 100 m backstroke at the North West Region Age Groups. 

Adam Toone achieved a National Qualifying Time (NQT) in the 12 yrs 200 m backstroke at the North West Region Age Groups. 

Dave Holt passed the ASA/UKVV Level 1 Teaching Aquatics Certificate.
May 09Eleanor Bailey, Scott Cummings, Grace Morley, Jessica Sloan, Adam Toone and Jaeger Turner represented Central Lancashire at the Inter Association Age Groups.
Apr 09Robyn Nicholls represented GB Junior Women in the 10th International Tournament of Felgueiras City, Portugal.  The team won the event. (click here for further details) 

Aaron Atherton and Josephine Costello were selected for the GB Youth Water Polo Squad to attend Millfield. 

Grace Morley achieved a National Qualifying Time (NQT) in the 12 years 200 m IM.

Mar 09Tyldesley Swimming and Water Polo Club won the Club of The Year 2008 award at the Greater Manchester Sports Awards. 

Grace Morley achieved National Qualifying Times (NQTs) in the 12 years 100 m backstroke, 200 m butterfly and 200 m backstroke at the Lancashire County Age Groups. This gives her a total of 4 NQTs. 

Jaeger Turner achieved a NQT in the 13 yr 100 m backstroke at the Lancashire County Age Groups. 

Scott Cummings, Adam Gillespie, Grace Morley, Becky Rumbelow, Kim Rumbelow, Jessica Sloan, Adam Toone and Jaeger Turner achieved Regional Qualifying Times at the Lancashire County Age Groups.
Feb 09Tyldesley Swimming and Water Polo Club won the Club of The Year 2008 award at the Wigan Borough Sports Awards. 

The 14/Us Water Polo Team were runners up in the Manchester & District 14/Us Water Polo Tournament. 

Grace Morley and Adam Gillespie attended a Central Lancashire Swim Camp. 

Matt Kearns and Phil Stout achieved the ASA/UKCC Level 1 Coaching Swimming Certificate.
Jan 09Diane Stafford was made a Life Member of Central Lancashire Swimming and Water Polo Association. 

Eric Harrison was re-elected President and Hon Water Polo Secretary of Manchester & District S&WPA.   

Mavis Bent was re-elected as a Vice President of Manchester & District S&WPA. 

The Swim Team won the Ernest Chadwick Memorial Gala for the first time in 12 years. 

The 14/Us Water Polo Team were runners up in the 2008 Manchester & District 14/Us Water Polo League (decided in a play-off).  

Scott Cummings, Grace Morley, Becky Rumbelow, Kim Rumbelow, Jessica Sloan, Adam Toone and Jeager Turner achieved North West Regional Qualifying Times.

Eleanor Bailey, Scott Cummings, Adam Gillespie, Grace Morley, Becky Rumbelow, Kim Rumbelow, Jessica Sloan, Adam Toone and Jaeger Turner achieved Lancashire County Qualifying Times.

Robert Leyland won the Ryan Heywood Trophy for the Most Valued Junior Water Polo Player in 2008.

The Girls 15/Us Water Polo Team won the Manchester & District 15/Us Water Polo Tournament.  The first time in the club’s history that a girl’s water polo team had one a competition.  Lee Toone and Gwyneth Harrison passed the ASA/UKCC Level 1 Coaching Water Polo Certificate.
Nov 08The Senior Water Polo Team were the National Water Polo League Division 2 winners and were promoted to Division 1.  Michael Cowburn was the highest goalscorer in NWPL Division 2 for the third year running scoring 71 goals in 12 games. Tyldesley were also the highest scoring team with 172 goals. Grace Morley achieved her National Qualifying Time in the 12 yr 100 m butterfly at the Stockport Open Meet. The 12/Us water polo team won the Bolton & District Mini Polo KO competition. Grace Morley set three new records in the Club Championships: U13 50 m backstroke (stood for 17 years), U13 50 m butterfly (stood for 15 years) and Ladies Open Age 100 m freestyle (new event).Eleanor Bailey set a new record in the U11 50 m backstroke (stood for 11 years) at the Club Championships. Daniel Laithwaite set a new record in the ents Open Age 100 m freestyle (new event). Emma Costello and Austin Lawley were elected as Club Captains.
Oct 08The Senior Swim Team were the Central Lancs Senior League Champions for the 13th time in 14 years. The Junior Jubilee Swim Team were runners up in the Central Lancs Junior Jubilee A Final for the second year in a row. Club officials were invited to a Mayor's reception in recognition of the club achieving Swim 21 accreditation for water polo teaching and re-accreditation for swimming teaching and skill development.
Sep 08Robyn Nicholls represented GB Junior Women in the LEN European Junior Water Polo Championships in Chania, Crete. GB finished 7th in the competition. Jaeger Turner was invited to represent Lancashire County in the Inter-County Championships and ESSA Schools Division 7 in the ESSA National Schools Championships. Greg Samuel represented Greater Manchester and Robert Dickinson represented Cheshire at the ASA North West CSP Junior Boys Competition. The 12/Us water polo team won the Bolton & District Mini Polo League. Eleanor Bailey achieved three club records in the Mini Gala Top Boys and Top Girls at the Mini Gala were:8 yr girls: Stephanie Whittaker8 yr boys: Bratt Baxter10 yr girls: Eleanor Bailey10 yr boys: Scott Cummings
Aug 08Emma Costello was the winner of the ASA North West Aquaforce Vounteer Awards - Young Volunteer under 18 years category. Matt Kearns was the runner up in the ASA North West Aquaforce Vounteer Awards - Outstanding Contribution by an 18 to 25 year old category.
Jul 08At the ASA Swim 21 National Age Groups Grace Morley came 4th in the 11 year 100 m backstroke in a 4 second personal best time and also achieved a 3 second personal best time in the 200 m backstroke.  Jaeger Turner came 17th in the 12 years 100 m backstroke. Lucy Aspinall, James Chadwick, Josephine Costello, Honor Grimes, Henry Hooper, Ed Morley, Grace Morley, Daniel Hudspith, Patrick Rowland and Adam Toone represented Wigan Borough in the Greater Manchester Youth Games Water Polo Tournament. Eric Harrison was Team Manager and Gwyneth Harrison was Assistant Team Manager. The team were runners up for the second year running. Patrick Ollis-James represented Bolton Borough in the Greater Manchester Youth Games Water Polo Tournament. The team won the competition.

May 08Tyldesley SWPC Swimming section was re-accredited at Swim 21 Teaching and Skill Development levels.  The Water Polo section was also accredited (for the 1st time) at Teaching level.  Tyldesley are the 1st club in the North West (and 2nd throughout the country) to achieve Swim 21 accreditation for water polo.  Aaron Atherton, Josephine Costello and Natasha Grundy were selected to attend the National Water Polo Academy at Millfield for the second year running. April 08Eleanor Bailey, Scott Cummings, Emily Hindley, Henry Hooper, Jessica Sloan, Leah Statham and Adam Toone represented Wigan Borough in the Association of Greater Manchester Authorities Gala which was held at the MEN Arena as part of the legacy of the World Championships. The event was won by Wigan. Diane Stafford was Team Manager and Alan Stafford the Assistant Team Manager. Eleanor Bailey, Scott Cummings, Adam Gillespie, Grace Morley, Rebecca Rumbelow, Beth Sloan, Leah Statham, Adam Toone and Jaeger Turner represented Central Lancs at the Inter-association Age Groups.

February 08Robyn Nicholls was part of the GB Junior Women water polo squad that trained and competed in the Valentines International Tournament against club teams from Canada and the US in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Eleanor Bailey, Grace Morley, Kim Rumbelow, Rebecca Rumbelow and Jaeger Turner achieved ASA NW Region qualifying times. Eleanor Bailey, Rebecca Harris, Emily Hindley, Grace Morley, Kim Rumbelow, Rebecca Rumbelow, Bethany Sloan, Leah Statham, Adam Toone and Jaeger Turner achieved Lancashire County qualifying times. Sam Oultram was selected to attend the Central Lancashire S&WPA Swim Camp from his performances at the Central lancs Warburton Age Groups.
January 08Aaron Atherton was selected to attend GB Academy Squad water polo training. Ed Morley won the Ryan Heywood Trophy for the Most Valued Junior Water Polo Player in 2007 Eric Harrison was elected President of Manchester & District S&WPA.  Eric was also re-elected as Hon Water Polo Secretary of M&D. 

Mavis Bent was re-elected as a Vice President of Manchester & District S&WPA.

September 07Senior Swim Team won the Central Lancs Senior League for the 12th time in 13 years. 

Intermediate Swim Team won the Central Lancs Intermediate League Division 2 are will be promoted to Division 1 for 2008. 

Junior Jubilee Swim Team were runners up in the Junior Jubilee 'A' Final. 

Diane Stafford was elected President of ASA North West Region. 

Mavis Bent was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award in the ASA North West Region Aquaforce Volunteer Awards. 

Daniel Hudspith, Adam Gillespie, Ed Morley, Grace Morley and Adam Toone were selected to attend the Manchester Regional Training Centre for water polo.
August 07Chris Gilbertson represented Great Britain at the World University Games in Bangkok.  Click here for further details.

July 07Chris Gilbertson represented Great Britain in the LEN European Nations Trophy Water Polo Championships.  GB finished in sixth place and secured qualification for the European Championships qualification tournament in January.  Chris scored two goals during the championships. 

Robyn Nicholls represented Great Britain in a Junior Women's Water Polo Tournament in Thionville, France and attended the GB Junior Women's Olympic Hopes water polo training camp in Praque. 

Eric Harrison was invited by the ASA to attend the semi finals and finals of the LEN European Nations Trophy Water Polo Championships at Manchester Aquatics Centre on 14th and 15th July in recognition of his “commitment and achievements in water polo”.  Click here for further details. 

Charlotte Asker, Aaron Atherton, Josephine Costello, Adam Gillespie, Nick Grime, Robert Leyland, Ed Morley, Grace Morley, Megan Price and Bethany Sloan represented Wigan Borough in the Greater Manchester Youth Games water polo tournament.  Eric Harrison was the team manager and Gwyneth Harrison the assistant team manager.  The team took the silver medal after being beaten by a golden goal in extra time in a closely fought opening game against the tournament winners Oldham.  The team won their remaining games convincingly.  Aaron Atherton was the tournament’s top goalscorer.
June 07Aaron Atherton, Josephine Costello and Natasha Grundy were selected to attend the National Water Polo Academy at Millfield in August.
May 07Robyn Nicholls attended a Great Britain Junior Women's water polo training camp in Millfield and represented the team in the Six Nations Cup in Felgueiras, Portugal.  The GB team took the bronze medal. 

Michael Cowburn was selected to represent Great Britain Seniors in an international water polo tournament in Saudi Arabia. 

Adam Gillespie, Sam Oultram, Leah Statham, Adam Toone and Jaeger Turner represented Central Lancashire SWPA in the North West Region Inter-association Gala in Blackpool in May.

January 07Eric Harrison was elected Vice Chairmen (equivalent to President Elect) of Manchester & District S&WPA.  Eric was also re-elected as Hon Water Polo Secretary of M&D. 

Mavis Bent was elected as a Vice President of Manchester & District S&WPA.

November 06Michael Cowburn was the highest goalscorer in the National Water Polo League Division 2 with 85 goals in 14 games.  The team finished 4th and were the highest goalscorers with 183 goals. 

Aaron Atherton, Josephine Costello and Natasha Grundy were selected to attend the Manchester Regional Training Centre for water polo. 

Rachel Aspinall and Matthew Kearns were elected as the Club Captains. 

Natalie Cummings broke the Open Age 50 m freestyle record at the Club Championships.
October 06Senior Swim Team won the Central Lancs Senior League for the 11th time in 12 years. 

Diane Stafford was elected President Elect of ASA North West Region. 

Steve Aspinall qualified as an ASA Lane Coach. 

Matthew Kearns passed his ASA Level 1 Teachers Certificate (Swimming). 

Steve Grundy qualified as an ASA water polo referee (probationary). 

Steve Aspinall and Paul Costello qualified as ASA timekeepers.
September 06Chris Gilbertson represented Great Gritain in the Junior Men’s European Water Polo Championships in Oradea, Roumania.  In the group stage GB played Serbia, Slovenia, Roumania and Georgia.  The team then beat Poland to take 15th place overall.  (click here for further details then go to page 2) 

Chris also represented Great Britain Senior Men in the Heliopolis International Tournament against Cegled (Hungary), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Heliopolis and South Africa at Heliopolis, Cairo, Egypt. (click here for further details) 

Eleanor Bailey achieved a new club record of 17.57s in the Mini Gala 8 Year Girls 25 m freestyle beating the previous record of 17.9s set by Michelle Giles in 1976.

August 06Robyn Nicholls represented Great Britain Junior Women in an International Water Polo Tournament against Croatia Junior Women, Slovakia Senior Women and Slovakia Junior Women in Vrutky, Slovakia.  (click here for further details) 

Amy Wood was selected for the North West Region Triathlon Team competing in Scotland.
Juy 06Chris Gilbertson represented Great Britain Junior Men in an International Water Polo Tournament against the Netherlands, France and Poland at Valenciennes, France.  (click here for further details)

Aaron Atherton, Emma Burns, Josephine Costello, Nick Grimes, Natasha Grundy, Henry Hooper, William Hooper, Edward Morley, Bethany Sloan and Grace Wood represented Wigan Borough Water Polo Team at the Greater Manchester Youth Games.  Eric Harrison was Team Manager and Gwyneth Harrison was Assistant Team Manager.  The team finished 4th in the event and won the Fair Play Award. 
May 06Chris Gilbertson represented Great Britain Junior Men in the Junior Men’s European Qualifer Water Polo Tournament against Israel, Belarus, Portugal, Poland and Ireland in Limerick Eire.  The team won all their matches and made history by qualifying to the European Junior Men Championships for the first time.  (Click here for further details) 

Natalie Cummings, Daniel Laithewaite and Kimberley Rumbelow represented Central Lancashire Swimming & Water Polo Association at the ASA North West Region Youth Championships.
April 06Chris Gilbertson represented Great Britain Junior Men in an International Water Polo Tournament against Poland and Turkey at Lodz, Poland. (click here for further details) 

Lucy Aspinall was selected to attend the Lancashire County Water Polo & Swimming Asociation swim camp this month.  This selection was made from her performance at the Lancashire County Age Groups.
February 06Girl’s club captain Robyn Nichols represented Great Britain in an International Junior Women Water Polo Tournament in Slovakia against Czech Republic, Croatia and Slovakia.

Diane Stafford received a letter of commendation from the Torch Trophy Trust which “recognises outstanding volunteers in the world of sport who have given their time voluntarily to work at grass root level and enable people within their community to participate in sport”.  The letter was sent on behalf of the Priness Royal (Princess Anne) and signed by Sir Bobby Charlton. 

James Robinson won the Ryan Heywood Trophy for the Most Valued Junior Water Polo Player in 2009. 

Rechard Jhugroo qualified as an ASA Referee.

December 05After 7 years in the National League Division 1 Tyldesley's Senior Water Polo Team were relegated to Division 2.  (Click here for further details) 

Tyldesley were winners of the 2005 Bolton & District Mini Polo League.
September 05Diane Stafford was elected to the Board of the ASA North West Region for a term of 2 years. 

Tyldesley were winners of the Central Lancashire Intermediate League Division 2 and gained promotion to Division 1.

July 05Robyn Nicholls attended a England Youth training camp in Holland.  During the camp the team played against Holland and Canada.  Also for a third year in a row Robyn attended the National Water Polo Academy at Millfield. 
June 05Melissa Banner, Sam Oultram, Katherine Hooper, William Hooper, Rebecca Rumbelow and Bethany Sloan represented Wigan Borough Swim Team at the Greater Manchester Youth Games.  Diane Stafford was Team Manager and the team won the swimming event.

Aaron Atherton, Emma Burns, Robyn Burns, Nicholas Fish, Natasha Grundy, James Hilton, Joshua Houghton and Thomas Southern represented Wigan Borough Water Polo Team at the Greater Manchester Youth Games.  Eric Harrison was Team Manager and James Harrison was Assistant Team Manager.  The team finished 5th in the water polo event.

April 05Chris Gilbertson represented Great Britain Junior Men in an International Tournament (Presidents Cup) against Sweden, Poland, Ireland, Belarus and Lithuania in Lodz Poland. 

Tyldesley SWPC finished 6th out of 20 clubs at the Central Lancs Championships. 

Tom Corcoran was selected to attend the Lancashire County Swim Camp at the Manchester Aquatics Centre in June.

January 05Daniel Laithwaite and Charlie Stokes  won the Ryan Heywood Trophy for the Most Valued Junior Water Polo Player in 2004. 

Mavis Bent was elected President of Manchester & District Swimming and Water Polo Association.

December 04The Senior Water Polo Team had their most successful season in the National League to date clinching the sixth place in the British Championships by heading the lower section of the Division One table.

November 04The Mayor and Mayoress of Wigan presented the trophies and medals at the Club Championships and attended a buffet reception provided by the club at the Morts Heritage Centre, Astley immediately following the gala.
October 04Senior Swimming Team created history by winning the Central Lancs Senior League for the tenth year in succession. 

Natalie Cummings represented Division 7 in the English Schools Swimming Association finals at Coventry and finished 6th in the Junior Girls 100 m backstroke.

August 04Khalid Jhugroo won the Boys 17-24 years 2000m at National Age Groups Open Water Championships at Holme Pierrepont, Nottingham. (Click here for further details) 

Natalie Cummings who only achieved her National Qualifying Time in June and was competing in her first ever ASA National Age Groups finished 9th in the heats of the Girls 12 years 100 m backstroke and went on to take 6th in the final. 

Khalid Jhugroo competing in the 17/18 years age group of the ASA National Youth Championships (i.e. his final year) was unable to repeat his gold medal performance in last year's 1500 m freestyle. Khalid was 6th fastest in the heats of the 400 m freestyle but was 2 seconds slower in the final and finished in 10th place. Khalid also achieved 12th in the 400 m IM, 13th in the 200 m IM, 14th in the 1500 freestyle and 20th in the 200 m freestyle. 

David Gendall, James Harrison and Mark Hurst passed their ASA Assistant Teachers Water Pool Certificates.
July 04Frances Peers was selected as the team captain for the English Catholic Schools Team at the World Catholic Schools competition in Malta.  Frances achieved two golds, one silver, a 4th, a 5th and a 6th position in the competition.

Robyn Nicholls attended the National Water Polo Academy at Millfield for the 2nd year running. Robyn was the first Tyldesley player to attend the Academy twice.
June 04Heather Fredriksen won the 10K and finished 5th in the 5K Womens British Open Water Championships.  Khalid Jhugroo finished 4th in the Mens 5K British Open Water Championships. (Click here for further details)

Natalie Cummings achieved National Age Group Qualifying Times in the 100 m and 200 m backstroke.

Wigan Borough represented by Tyldesley SWPC finished 3rd in the Greater Manchester Youth Games Water Polo Tournament. Luke Cheadle was joint second highest goalscorer for the competition with 11 including the winning goal in the final second of the 3rd place play-off against Bury.
May 04Robyn Nicholls was selected for the Northern Counties team for the ASA Inter-district Water Polo Tournament.

Kimberley Banner was selected as the Girls Captain for the Central Lancs Swim Team at the Northern Counties Inter-association Gala.

Aaron Atherton, Natalie Bennett, Robyn Burns, Luke Cheadle (captain), Liz Deswsnip, Natasha Grundy, Sam Grundy, Charlotte Ranson, Lewis Reece and Charlie Stokes were selected for the Wigan Metro Water Polo Team at the Greater Manchester Youth Games. Eric Harrison and Mark Hurst were selected as team coaches.
April 04Jenny Coughlin was runner up in the Young Disabled Sports Achiever of the Year category at the Greater Manchester Sports Awards.
March 04Frances Peers was selected to represent the English Catholic Schools Swim Squad for the World Catholic School Championships in Malta in July.

Rachel Aspinall, Kimberley Banner, Natalie Cummings, Jake Haslam, Nikki Higson, Daniel Laithwaite, Declan Peers and Rohannah Whittle were selected to the Central Lancashire S&WPA Swim Team for the Inter-association Competition.

Kimberley Rumbelow and Nikki Higson were selected to attend the Greater Manchester Sports Partnership Swim Camp.
February 04Diane Stafford was selected (for the 2nd year running) as the Northern Counties representative on the ASA Technical Swimming Committee.

Mavis Bent was elected as the Manchester & District Swimming & Water Polo Association Vice Chairman.

Eric Harrison elected as the Manchester & District Swimming & Water Polo Association Hon. Water Polo Secretary.
