Dear friends
As I am sure
you are aware our club celebrated its 130th anniversary last year. The festivities included children’s
parties, a Pirate night, an activity day at Burrs as well as a wonderful dinner dance at the Rendezvous and of course we continued
out highly popular swimming and water polo club nights.
We would like to continue these activities
as they were so well supported by all the club members and in order to do so we have decided to start a 130 club which
is where you come in!
On the first training session each month we will draw out 3 winning numbers
(first prize £35, second prize £20 and third prize £10). In order to have a ticket in the draw it will cost
you just £1 a month, our intension is to have 130 numbers a month in the draw giving you a 1 in 130 chance of winning
the main prize. If we sell more numbers we will increase the prizes accordingly. The draw is of course open to
anyone who wishes to support the club and I would urge you to approach neighbours, friends, and family, you may also wish
to purchase more than one number!
To reduce the amount of time and administration needed the
money will be collected in advance by the 31st March ready to start the draws in April. You can pay for either
6 or 12 months by cash or cheque (payable to Tyldesley Swimming and Water Polo Club) either on the desk or to the address
below.
